Character Groom Artist (m/f/d) - Remote / Berlin / Wuppertal

verce is looking for a talented Character Groom Artist (m/f/d) to build up and develop our character lab. As groom artist you will be responsible for the development of high quality hair and feathers for our 3D characters. 

Your Challenge

  • Together we work on ultra-realistic 3D characters and bring them to life for our clients
  • You will create realistic hair for our 3D characters
  • You are an integral part of our character lab and support us with your grooming expertise and creative as well as technical input
  • Together with the team you will work towards deadlines and proactively inform about the status
  • You stay up to date with new trends and tools in your area of expertise 

Your Profile

  • Relevant experience in grooming/hair simulation in comparable productions
  • Experience in project & pipeline management
  • You are very familiar with Maya / Xgen / ... 
    advantageous is: experience with Houdini and Unreal Engine
  • You are a collaborative team player and enjoy working across your domain
  • A high degree of quality awareness and good communication skills complete your profile
